Pouring the mold with wax
Dumping the wax
A good way to save on your casting budget is to make your own waxes. By making the wax and touching it up so that it is ready to cast should net you foundry savings of 30%. Even if you have the foundry make the rubber mold you can then take the mold and make the wax.
This can save you production time as well. You won’t have your waxes waiting for the next available wax tech to make them and clean them up.
If you are casting with us we will be happy to show you how to make the waxes just as we do for ourselves.
Saving time and money at the foundry always a good thing.
